Beth A SimmonsBeth Simmons is a Professor of Government at Harvard University, Cambridge Massachusetts. Previous positions include Assistant Professor at Duke University (Durham, North Carolina) and Associate Professor at the University of California at Bekeley. Her research interests include international law, international human rights, and international political economy. She is author of Who Adjusts? Domestic Sources of Foreign Economic Policy During the Interwar Years, 1924-1939 (1995), and is currently working on a book length manuscript on compliance with international human rights obligations.
