Bert M. Weckhuysen

Bert M. Weckhuysen is Distinguished University Professor at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) and Director of the national Gravitation research program on Multiscale Catalytic Energy Conversions, he is a worldwide known expert in operando and avanced characterisation of the catalysts. He is the author of over 700 publications and a member of the editorial advisory boards of several journals on catalysis, also an editor of some of them. He received many international awards. He was the former President of the European Federation of Catalysis Societies and President of the SUNERGY/SUNER-C large-scale initiative. He is the editor of three books and many special issues of journals. He holds several patents.
