Bernard Schlink
Bernhard Schlink is a German jurist and author of the international bestseller The Reader. He is a former judge and taught public law and legal philosophy at Humboldt University in Berlin and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City before retiring in 2006.
