Bernard has published extensively in such journals as Leadership Quarterly, Public Administration Reviw, Management Communication Quarterly, the Journal of Business Ethics, and the Journal of Vocational Behaviour, and is on the editorial board of several journals. His co-authored book, Wisdom and Management in the Knowledge Economy (2010) provides an important overview of wisdom in management.
