Benjamin J. Scheick Benjamin J. Scheick is an Associate Professor of Finance and Real Estate at Villanova University, where he holds the Hovnanian Family Endowed Chair and serves as Faculty Director of the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate. A Villanova alumnu, he earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Florida and previously taught at the University of Georgia. His research focuses on real estate valuation, capital markets, and investor behavior, with publications in leading journals such as Real Estate Economics and the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. He is active in AREUEA and ARES and serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Real Estate Research and the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management.
