Belva Davis

Belva Davis is an American television and radio journalist and news anchor who has reported on the onset of the AIDS epidemic, the birth of the Black Panthers, and the assassination of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervsor Harvey Milk, and the terrorist attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania that first put Osama bin Laden on the FBI's Most Wanted List. As the first black female television journalist in the West, she prompted a new focus and interested on uncovered topics. She is the winner of eight local Emmys and numerous awards, she is author of the memoir, Never in My Wildest Dreams.
