Barbara BlytheBarbara's earliest writing efforts were geared to mainstream historical romance. Then the need to honor God and share her Christian faith redirected her writing. A lover of history, she's created faith-driven stories, entwining historical events withher characters who discover love in spite of complications and danger. First bitten by the writing bug in sixth grade, Barbara was further encouraged in middle and high school. Upon graduation from Old Dominion University, she became a banker then an administrative assistant with a local school system. Barbara's husband passed away unexpectedly, and she had to refocus her priorities-unfinished manuscripts ended up in the file cabinet. In 2023, not long after retiring, she was contacted by a member of the local ACFW group. It was time to pull out the unfinished manuscripts and bring to life the historical stories she finds so fascinating.
