He has started taking research and consulting interest in medical tourism since early 2000’s. One of his specific expetise is in synergizing telemedicine with medical tourism. Currently, he is associate professor of management and coordinator of international programs at Fort Hays State University, USA. In the recent past, he served as professor of business research methods at Swiss Management Center University. In addition, he is a visiting professor at various higher education institutions around the world. He is the director of Center for Health Tourism, a nonprofit thinktank investigating health tourism futures.
