B H Broadbent"Stories have always been my sanctuary. Growing up with dyslexia, reading and writing didn't come easily-but I knew there was magic behind the symbols, and I was determined to unlock it. Fairy tales like Cinderella, Ariel, and especially Beauty and te Beast gave me worlds to escape into, and later, books like The China Garden and the Harry Potter series expanded those horizons even further. Studying the KJV of the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon deepened my love for language and meaning. In college, I discovered that writing wasn't just a skill-it was a way to share my heart, my thoughts, and my imagination. Authors like Nora Roberts, Orson Scott Card, and Robin McKinley were like cheerleaders inspiring me to write. Matters of the Heart: A Beauty and the Beast Novel is a reflection of need and desire, and how the two often clash. It explores how even within ourselves, the answers we seek can be tangled, imperfect, and beautifully messy. Books have always been more than stories to me-they're lifelines, companions, and a part of who I am. A way to untangle the wordless world of emotions and thoughts. I'm honored to share this piece of myself with you. -God Bless! - B.H. Broadbent" Read More Read Less
