Augustine Digiovanna Augustine Gaspar DiGiovanna is Associate Professor of Biology at Salisbury State University in Maryland. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Zoology from the University of Maryland, where he was elected to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Since 1972, Dr. DiGiovanna has been a member of the teaching faculty at Salisbury State. He has also been Visiting Teaching Professor at the University of Maryland. He specializes in teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Vertebrate Embryology, and Biology of Human Aging. In 1982 he helped develop the interdisciplinary minor in gerontology at Salisbury State, which is a member institution of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education.
