He received his PhD in Hydraulic Structures in 1996 at the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest. Mr. Purnus is the promoter, founder ad past president of PMI Romania Chapter. With an experience of almost 30 years gained in various type of projects as designer, construction manager, project manager and consultant in project management, Dr. Purnus holds the Project Manager Professional (PMI) and Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA) certification. He published as author and co-author of 10 books and more than 100 publications in refereed journals and conferences.
