Ashraf AshourProf. Ashraf Ashour is a Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Bradford, UK. He received his PhD from Cambridge University, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (FIStructE) and the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He recently won the Newton prize in 2020 for his contribution in developing sustainable construction materials/structures. He was the editor-in-chief of the Structures and Buildings Journal, ICE (2014-2017) and has held many editorial memberships of various research structural/ material engineering journals.
