Everything in her books are works of pure fiction (all the priests she's come across when she dares to step inside of a church have sadly made no advances), but she does write from a place of knowledge founded on experience. She participates in the lifestyle and since her emancipation from the 'nilla world, as some kinksters like to refer to anything that exists outside the realm of BDSM, has been lucky enough to experience a majority of the broad spectrum of the human experience.

If there is an acorn of truth in her work, it would be the potential for healing and growth that can be found in healthy dynamics and experiences. She believes people tend to label everything in black and white, good and bad... but sometimes pain can be cathartic and pleasure can be found in places one would have never thought to look. It's this sentiment that she brings to her stories and that breathes life into the characters she creates.
