Arthur Geis

Dr. Geis is from Massillon Ohio and writes adult fiction. The Rocket Scientist is his debut novel.

He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame, a master's degree in counseling from Kent State Universty, and a doctorate in organizations and political sociology from Boston University.

Before his writing career, he was an international change management expert working with companies across four continents. His clients include Presidents and CEOs of large multinationals and Silicon Valley start-ups. He's also consulted with flag officers from several branches of the United States Military, high technology, and environmental organizations. In the process, he's conducted over 1500 presentations, public appearances, and executive workshops.

Preceding his consulting work, he spent years working in human service organizations and served as the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Mental Health for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was also a ten-year Board Chair and member of Child Haven, a non-profit serving traumatized children in Northern California.

He has lived in Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Singapore, Napa, Houston, and currently resides in Reno, NV.
