Aron Mazel

Aron Mazel is a Reader of Heritage Studies at Newcastle University (UK) and a Research Associate at the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). Aron has published on a range of topics, including the management and interpretation o tangible and intangible heritage; museum and archaeological histories; the construction of the San hunter-gatherer past in the Thukela basin (South Africa) based on 15 rock shelter excavations; and rock art in the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg (South Africa) and Northumberland (UK).
