Arjun K GuptaArjun Kumar Gupta, a Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Poona University in India, a bachelor's degree from Banars Hindu University in India, and his Ph.D. from Purdue University. Over the span of his fifty-three years of teaching and research, he advised more than thirty PhD students, who themselves have over forty-six students. He received the Olscamp Research Award in 1990.
