Ariel PakesAriel Pakes is the Thomas Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Massachusetts. His research has been in industrial organisation, the economics of technological change, and in econometric theory. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, and eceived the Frisch Medal of the Econometric Society in 1986.
