The Max and Mollie books started many years ago when Ardis began traveling regularly to Mexico. She has been fortunate to evelop a very special and important relationship with a poor (yet wise) woman named Lilia. Ardis was able to channel her love for Lilia, sea glass, and her two children into the first book of the Max and Mollie series: Max, Mollie and the Magic of Sea Glass.
