Anthony KnoppAnthony Keith Knopp has been instructor in history at Texas Southmost College, Brownsville, since 1970. For the past ten years he has been chairman of the Social Science Department. Prior to that time, he served as assistant to the dean of the graduae programs in education, director of programs in teacher education, assistant professor at the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and assistant professor of history at San Antonio College. He received his doctorate in history at Texas Tech University in 1973 and did undergraduate work at the college of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota.
