Anthony CavenderAnthony Cavender grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of Tennessee. He has done research in Ecuador, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, and southern Appalachia. His publications include the book Folk Meicine in Southern Appalachia.
