Anne Burns

Anne Burns is an Honorary Professor in the School of Education at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and an Adjunct Professor at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. She is also Professor Emerita at Aston University, UK andHonorary Professor at the University of Sydney and The Education University, Hong Kong. She has published extensively on language teacher education and the teaching of speaking, and is internationally well known for her work on action research. Her latest book is The Routledge Handbook of Language Teacher Action Research (edited with Kenan Dikilitaș).
