Anna Pignataro

Anna Pignataro is an award winning and bestselling author and illustrator of more than eighty books for children. Anna’s books are published internationally and enjoyed in more than fourteen languages. She has received numerous accolades includingthe Crichton Award for Book Illustration, the Amazon Best Book Pic, the prestigious Kirkus Star and Winner in the Children’s Picture Book Category of the International Book Awards.
Anna’s hand drawn illustrations, known for their evocative watercolours, celebrate the warmth of family, the whimsy of folklore and embrace the magic of nature and the imagination. Anna also enjoys botanical painting, dancing and looking for fairies in her garden. She works from her home studio by the bay in Melbourne.
