Anita MitchellAnita Hobby Mitchell was born near the Victoria Falls (Musi O Tunya) in Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia. She lived her childhood in Northern Rhodesia and then traveled to the United States as a college student to earn a nursing degree. On a return tripto Zambia she met and married Dennis Owen Mitchell, who was serving as a global worker in the southern part of the country. The couple served as volunteers in health care, church ministry and education in Zambia for eleven years while they raised their three children. During more recent years, the couple has returned to Zambia several times to continue volunteer work and stay in touch with friends. They currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas. Read More Read Less
