Angus Deaton

Angus Deaton is a British American and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Ecoomic Sciences in 2015 for his analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare. He has previously taught at Cambridge University and the University of Bristol and was the president of the American Economic Association. Deaton's research areas are in health, well-being, and economic development.
