Andrew Thomas ElderI was born and raised in Northwest Ohio and I was educated locally but got dropped out of high school at my senior year in 1980. However, at the same year, I got my GED diploma. I landed a good job at Marina in Southwestern Florida where I lived clos by. One Saturday afternoon while working overtime, I was invited to go out on a yacht in the Gulf of Mexico. When I went home, my friends asked me to meet them back at Marina. When I was about to enter the parking lot, I was hit by a drunk driver. That changed me forever. Though the situation was hard, I was able to surpass because of HaShem's help. Eleven years after my accident, I served in our state reserve unit as a double amputee.
