He has previously been senior counsel at Ubizen (a Cybertrust company) and general counsel at GlobalSign, (Vodafone Group). He has been consulted in seeral security implementations in eGovernment. He is a qualified attorney (Athens Bar) and has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster and the Athens University for Economics and Business. He has co-authored more than 85 publications including Open EDI and law in Europe: A regulatory framework. He holds a PhD in electronic commerce and the law from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, a master’s in computers and law from Queen’s University of Belfast, a diploma in project management from ParisTech (Grandes Ecoles d’Ingenieurs de Paris), and a law degree from the University of Athens.
