Ananda P. KumarDr. P. Ananda Kumar is a scientist and historian whose career bridges the world of molecular biology and the study of medieval South Indian history. He is the author of "Musunuri Nayaks: Saga of National Resurgence". He is a retired Plant Biotechnoloist with over 40 years of service at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). He served as the Director of the Institute of Biotechnology at Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and has contributed significantly to the development of transgenic crops in India.
