Anabela SarmentoAnabela Sarmento obtained her first degree in Management Studies, her Master’s in Science of Education and her PhD in Technology and Information Systems at the University of Minho, Portugal. She is a Professor at the School of Accountancy and Adminisration (ISCAP)/Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal). She lectures on business communications and the information society. She is also a researcher at the Algoritmi Research Centre (Information Systems Group), University of Minho. Her research interests are: the impact of information systems on organisations and knowledge management (SMEs, intellectual capital, higher education and lifelong learning). She is an Associate Editor of the Information Resource Management Journal and of the International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction.
