Amrit SenAmrit Sen, Ph.D., is a professor at the Department of English, Bhasha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati (Santiniketan, West Bengal, India), and is, presently, the Director of Granthan Vibhaga (the publishing-section) of Visva-Bharati at Kolkata. A recipient of everal awards and accolades, including those from the Government of India and the U.G.C., Sen has authored/co-authored 13 books till date, and has published numerous essays and articles in reputed international and national journals. He had been at the University of Edinburgh as Fellow of a UKIERI-programme, and travels all around the world, lecturing at different international conferences, and teaching at numerous universities.
