Amos WinterAmos Winter is the Ratan N. Tata Career Development Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. He is a leading thinker in the application of engineering science and product design research to emerging market challenges. Hs research group, the Global Engineering and Research (GEAR) Lab, focuses on technical challenges in developing countries, including drip irrigation, water purification, agricultural equipment and power systems, and assistive technology.
