Amitabha BhattacharjeeDr. Amitabha Bhattacharjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Assam University, Silchar. With over 15 years of academic and more than 20 years of research experience, he specializes in antimicrobial resistance, clinical mirobiology, and molecular diagnostics. Dr. Bhattacharjee holds a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University and has completed prestigious postdoctoral fellowships in the UK and France under DBT and ICMR programs. He has published over 125 research articles and multiple book chapters, and holds 3 Indian patents on antibiotic resistance detection. He has successfully led 14 national and international research projects funded by DBT, CSIR, DST, and others.
