Amar DasDr. Das received MD and PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University.  He completed a research track residency in Psychiatry and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute.  e served as faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine and at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where also served as Director of Biomedical Informatics within the Department of Biomedical Data Science, which he cofounded, and Director of the Biomedical Informatics Core within the SYNERGY Clinical and Translational Science Institute.  He joined IBM Research in 2016 as Director of Healthcare Effectiveness Research, a role focused on advancing machine learning and blockchain frameworks for clinical studies of AI solutions within healthcare. In 2020, he joined Merck Research Laboratories as Director of Real-world Data Analytics and Innovation.
