Amanda Schermer Macvey

Mandy Schermer MacVey is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Schiff Hardin LLP. Her practice focuses on full-time boots-on-the-ground legal services on megaprojects. She has expertise in developing contracting strategy,executing complex contract negotiations, and implementing construction industry best practices to effectively prevent, mitigate, and resolve disputes that arise over the life cycle of construction projects. She received her BS and her JD from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She is a frequent lecturer and author, as well as adjunct professor of construction law at John Marshall Law School. Ms. MacVey volunteers her time as outside general counsel for Street Law, Inc., and was recognized in the 2015 and 2016 Emerging Lawyer Network.
