Amanda Root
Amanda Root is an English stage, screen, and voice actor. In 2009 her performance in The Norman Conquests earned her a Tony nomination for Best Performance for a Featured Actress in a Play. She also played the voice of Sophie in Te BFG, held the starring role in the 1995 BBC film adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion, and played Miranda in the British television comedy All About Me.
