Amanda Gail LeAmanda Le is an Asian-American artist local to Southern California. While working as an art teacher, Amanda became a full-time book illustrator in 2023. Amanda earned a BA in Art and Masters in Education from UC Irvine and became an award-winning boo artist, winning the 2022 BIBA(R) Book Cover Award and the 2024 BIBA(R) Children's Illustration Award. The artist uses a variety of mediums, including but not limited to analog inking, painting, graphics tablet, animation and a variety of digital programs, enhances the quality of photos and scans of physical art in order to ready any artwork for print and reproduction, and uses a variety of styles including but not limited to realism, anime and cartooning.
