Alyssa Koski

Alyssa Koski, a member of the Kainai Nation, is an award-winning artist and illustrator. She holds a BA in Visual Communications from the Alberta College of Art and Design and is the recipient of the Janet Mitchell Award, the Harley Brown Artistic Endowment, and the Applied Arts Magazine design award. She has illustrated many children’s books, including Aggie & Mudgy (written by Wendy Proverbs); Blue Camas, Blue Camas (by Danielle S. Marcotte); kā-āciwīkicik / The Move (by Doris George and Don K. Philpot), a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Awards; and Magical Beings of Haida (by Terri-Lynn Williams-Davidson and Sara Florence Davidson). She lives in Okotoks, Alberta.
