Allen Joyce AllenJan van Muilekom received his PhD at the State University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He took his MA in Contemporary History at the University of Utrecht. His research interests focus on the relationship between historical propaganda, censorship ad professional history writing. He is particularly attentive to Spains historiography after the start of the Spanish Civil War in 1936.
