Alison Acheson

Alison Acheson is the author of Dance Me to the End: Ten Months and Ten Days with ALS (Brindle & Glass), which was praised by the Toronto Star as "an achingly painful memoir . . . told with honesty and grace" and the short story collction Learning to Live Indoors (Porcupine's Quill), which was praised by the Globe & Mail for its "arresting and crystalline clarity." She has also published nine books for young readers, including the Canadian Library Association's Young Adult Book of the Year finalist, Mud Girl. She lives in Vancouver.
