Alecandra BaldecMeditation has made quite a comeback in recent years as more and more individuals start to realize the benefits that they can accrue from doing this low impact form of exercise. For Alecandra all started when she saw her aunt practicing meditation evry day after she had a heart attack. As curiosity got the better of Alecandra she asked her aunt why she was doing this daily meditation ritual and was told that it was the best way to get the mind in sync with her body. Her aunt was also praticing a daily yoga ritual that was prescribed to her by her doctor in order to get rid of built up stress. Alecandra took this a step further and sought to do her own research to find out exactly what the process of meditation and yoga entailed. This opened her up to a whole new world and she did end up learning a lot about the meditation and the yoga process including the many benefits that came from the meditation yoga (mind body) connection.
