Alan R TippettA native of Australia, Alan R. Tippett served for twenty years as a missionary in Fiji. He was Senior Professor of Antropology and Oceanic Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary from 1965-1977. The author of numerous articles and books, including Chuch Growth and the Word of God and Introduction to Missiology, Dr. Tippett died in Canberra in 1988.
