Alan IsomAlan's adventures with literature began as they should: with Tolkien's The Hobbit, read to him as a child by his father. His love of fantasy and science fiction eventually led him to RPGs - most notably Dungeons & Dragons - where world building becam a fascination. After majoring in Physics at Furman University and Civil Engineering at Clemson University, he became a licensed engineer and now works for an international Engineering-Procurement-Construction company.
