Alan Benge

Alan Benge has enjoyed a long career as a freelance journalist, cartoonist and artist/illustrator.

His early career included studying at Wellington School of Design ( now Massey University) and also graduated with a BA degree from Victoria niversity New Zealand.

His work has been published in Australian newspapers and magazines as well as New Zealand. He lived in Queensland for many years, but now has returned to New Zealand. A keen tramper, he enjoys outdoor recreation including cycling and photography as well as creating original works of art and writing books.
