Alan B AndersonAlan B. Anderson is Professor Emeritus of Sociology and a Research Affiliate of the Prairie Centre for the Study of Ukrainian Heritage at the University of Saskatchewan. He has spent his long career studying ethnic groups and immigrant communities, prticularly in Saskatchewan and Canada, as well as globally. A former President of the Canadian Ethnic Studies Association and Vice-President of the Central and East European Studies Association of Canada, he has authored many publications on ethnic settlements in Saskatchewan, including Settling Saskatchewan (University of Regina Press, 2013).
