Aintzane Doiz

Aintzane Doiz is Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (Spain). Her research interests include cognitive semantics, contrastive linguistics, and applied linguistics. Her latest research aso includes multilingualism at pre-university and university levels, attitudes and motivation, and the acquisition of an L3 in CLIL. She is part of the research group “Language and Speech” at the UPV/EHU. Together with David Lasagabaster and Juan Manuel Sierra, she has edited the books English-Medium Instruction at Universities: Global Challenges (Multilingual Matters) and Motivation and Foreign Language Learning: From Theory to Practice (John Benjamins).
