Adalbert GentlemanBorn in 1951 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, my life has been a journey of deep exploration, both geographically and spiritually. Raised Catholic and navigating a difficult childhood, I left home at 16 and embarked on a journey through the school of had knocks. These early challenges cultivated a resilience and curiosity about the natural and spiritual world. In my early 20s, I met the love of my life, and together, we embraced Christianity while building a hobby farm in the Canadian Rockies. Feeling called to missionary work, we pursued four years of education in Community Development and, in 1983, left Canada with our three daughters to live and work overseas. Over 11 years, we engaged in community development across six Asian countries, immersing ourselves in diverse cultures and promoting Christian beliefs in the hope of conversions. Then in 2013, after much research and many discoveries, I left Christianity to embrace a more inclusive, respectful and broader global Spirituality. Now residing in Western Australia, I have witnessed the ongoing deterioration of our global civilization and environment. Motivated by these observations, I decided to write about my journey away from Christianity and promote Kairos, a global spiritual alternative that connects humanity through shared universal beliefs and promotes global understanding, respect, and friendship. Drawing on a lifetime of observations and experiences across various cultures and religions, I also developed the concept of the "Precious Spirit," a foundational spiritual entity embodying Love, Light, Life, Nature, and the Fruit of the Spirit. This concept underpins Kairos, a framework designed to bridge cultural and religious divides. As I reflect on my journey through writing and continuous exploration, I embrace a label-free spiritual identity, focusing on shared moral and ethical principles and values across different faiths and cultures. My narrative is not just my own, but a tapestry woven from the many lives and stories I've encountered along the way, each enriching my understanding of what it means to live a spiritually fulfilled life.
