Aaron JohnsonI am a Louisiana native with a vision of educating and influencing the worlds of sports, fitness, health, and wellness. My interest in sports and fitness began as a child. At 8 years old I participated in my first competitive athletic experience, as he quarterback of my youth flag football team. Like most children participating in athletics, I learned leadership, teamwork, dedication amongst other things. As a high school two sports, star athlete, I played football and basketball. I learned to believe in myself. Now I teach self-confidence to all my students. My childhood dream became reality when I was awarded a full athletic scholarship to play football at Grambling State University under head Coach Doug Williams, Super Bowl XXII and Most Valuable Player. After four years of play, multiple knee surgeries, multiple championships, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, I decided to forego my senior season of football to attend graduate school at Louisiana State University. As a graduate assistant intern for the 2005-2006 Sugar Bowl Champion Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers football team, I worked closely with coaches and staff, high school football recruits, their families, and fans. In 2006, I graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Kinesiology.Between sports injuries, successes, failures, and multiple college degrees, I developed a strong understanding of sports psychology and how the mind and body work together to improve performance. Don't Be A Dumb Jock is my way to share this knowledge. Visit our website at www.AaronJohnsonFitnessClub.com. Read More Read Less
