Alethea Kinsela is the author of Lightning Tracks, a YA alternative history/fantasy novel, and Ancient Australia Unearthed, an educational textbook about Australian archaeology. She has worked as an English and Hstory teacher, as an archaeologist, digging in a variety of strange and interesting places around the world, and has lectured in the School of Education at La Trobe University. Currently, she hosts writing and archaeology workshops for kids and teachers, and is busy raising four boys. In her spare time, she writes.
