Daniel

Lillian Daniel is a pastor, teacher, and writer who currently serves as the Michigan Conference Minister for the state's 140 congregations of the United Church of Christ, tasked with the oversight and care of hundreds of clergy. Her books (i>Tired of Apologizing for a Church I Don't Belong To; When "Spiritual but Not Religious" Is Not Enough; and This Odd and Wondrous Calling) have given readers insights into the changing religious landscape, the growing number of people who claim "none" as their religious preference, and the "odd and wondrous calling" of life in the pastorate. She has taught preaching at several schools, including Chicago Theological Seminary, University of Chicago, University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, and Yale Divinity School.
