Statistical Modelling: A Selection of Papers from the Sixth International Workshop on Statistical Modelling, Utrecht, The Netherlands, 15-19 July 1991

The wide selection of articles in this volume reflects the large variety of problems that are likely to confront an applied statistician. These range from methodological topics such as issues in probability theory and statistical inference, computational statistics and software considerations, to topics arising from particular applications, such as data analyses in medicine and epidemiology, sociology, demography, economics and so on. Particular emphasis is given to the analysis of categorical data and educational testing applications.
