About the Book

In the next 10 years there will be more change than during the previous 100 years. To navigate these disruptive forces, you need a new mindset. This book is your guide. Certain books arrive at just the right moment to become benchmarks of their time. Build a Better Future is one of those books. Futurist and innovation expert Robert B. Tucker explores the historic inflection point we're living through-an era shaped by relentless, destabilizing change, yet filled with extraordinary potential. Across every sector, the MegaForces of Change (climatological, geopolitical, technological, social) are reshaping markets, altering consumer behavior, placing new demands on individuals and leaders. These shifts will destabilize the unprepared and reward the bold. Those who recognize the signals early-who think ahead of the curve and act with foresight-will turn upheaval into opportunity, vision into reality. Tucker presents a fresh framework - D.I.T.O. - for finding your way in the dawning Age of Acceleration. You'll learn how to track change strategically, anticipate disruption before it strikes, and use uncertainty as a steppingstone instead of a stumbling block-for yourself, your organization, and your community. More than a forecast, this book is a call to action. With the seven mindsets outlined here, you will expand your future view. Build a Better Future is your guide to becoming change-resilient, future-ready, and an innovator in shaping the future of tomorrow.

Review :
"Build a Better Future is an inspiring, practical guide for reclaiming agency in an age dominated by disruption, distraction, and dystopian thinking. Robert Tucker reminds us that the future isn't something to fear or flee from-it's something we can shape, one choice at a time, with the right vision and intention. If you believe the best days can still be ahead, this is a book you'll want to read." Mark Sanborn, author of New York Times bestselling "The Fred Factor" "With the advent of Artificial Intelligence and its incorporation in almost all facets of life, leaders across the world will be challenged to address AI's implications. Robert Tuckers' Build a Better Future is a must read for any leader who seeks to lead their organization from a future, innovative, and proactive standpoint." Andrew J. Smith, Ed.D., Former Deputy State Superintendent North Carolina Department of Public Instruction "Our world is adrift in what Tucker aptly calls the MegaForces of Change that are quickly reshaping our world. Build a Better Future redirects the conversation, shifting the focus to each of us: what do we want to create in our future? Tucker shows us how to take the reins away from the politicians and the technologists and turn the tides." Pamela McLean, PhD, Chief Knowledge Officer and Co-Founder of The Hudson Institute of Coaching "We need to dream of an alternative and bigger vision for humanity rather than defaulting to today's dystopian pessimism. The answer is not escaping to Mars as a solution for the preservation of human society, but to preserve our agency over robots. Build a Better Future is a field guide to creating multiple mindsets of our choosing for how to navigate the turbulent future." Rinaldo S. Brutoco, Founding President and CEO, World Business Academy "Build a Better Future offers a roadmap not only for business leaders, but for every professional and individual who is willing to imagine a different, more abundant future and embrace the Age of Acceleration." Marilyn Tam, former CEO of Aveda and author of The Happiness Choice
